This famous Richard Rodgers composition is the third standard on the CD. It’s performed as a jazz waltz and once again the arrangement plays with traditional and very adventurous harmonies. The general ambience of this track has a feel of cool jazz from the early 1960’s. The nylon acoustic guitar establishes the song while the grand piano solos. The double bass and jazz drums provide the rhythmic underpinnings.
